MillboardComposite DeckingProduct ReviewPremiumEnvello
Millboard Envello represents the pinnacle of composite decking technology. At £170-200/m² (60% more than standard composite, 300% more than timber), does it deliver? Unique features: realistic wood grain achieved through molding from real timber, Lastane coating provides authentic texture and excellent anti-slip (R11 wet rating), color variation boards (not uniform), non-porous surface resists algae/staining. 25-year residential warranty. Real-world testing: 5+ year installations show minimal fading (<5%), no splitting/warping, maintains appearance with just pressure wash twice yearly. Comparison vs cheaper composites reveals significant quality gap - mid-range composites (£100-120/m²) don't achieve same aesthetics and show more fading. Vs timber: zero maintenance saves £200-300 annually. Installation requires specialist (hidden fixing system). Best for: premium properties, heavy use areas, modern designs, clients wanting "fit and forget". Not worth it for: budget projects, traditional gardens, small areas (<15m²).
